Budget Controller


In the Technology Dept, the Roadmap& Resources Team is looking for a new colleague to own and coordinate activities and responsibilities linked to TD budget creation, follow-up, control and validation, for our projects’ completion and our specific acquisitions flows and validation.

Acting as a Budget Controller you:

  • have the leading role in creating  our teams’ yearly budgets , harmonizing and integrating  them into  ORO consolidated budget
  • will ensure an efficient transversal budget control  through monthly monitoring, follow-up and reporting
  • will control the procurement flows originated  in TD, validating and monitoring the acquisitions/ POs; will propose alternative or mitigating solutions for blocking matters (delays, lack of budget)

What you will be doing:
  • Build the TD yearly budget and its revisions at requested deadlines
  • Participate at the synchronization TD projects’ roadmap - TD budget
  • Monthly  monitor and report the status of budget execution versus target; zoom-in and explain the deviations
  • Build monthly re-forecasts, working transversally with the budget owners
  • Control the procurement flow, validating and monitoring the TD acquisitions and POs
  • Deliver in real time the complete image of TD  budget execution to all stakeholders: TD, FD, PM Office
  • Provide data and reports for ORO Financial Dept. (incl. Purchasing) and for Orange Group
What are we looking for? 
  • Ideally 2+ years’ practice in financially- oriented jobs
  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience working within the Telecomm industry
  • University degree in economics 
  • Accounting and financial knowledge
  • Legal and tax procedure basic knowledge
  • Specialized trainings and attestations in Budgeting Techniques, Controlling, ACCA modules , a.o. - would be a plus
  •  Good knowledge of MS Office, Oracle ,Telco, Think Cell
  • English language – medium or advanced level
  • Analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently as well as having good team skills -  be a pro-active contributor to our team
  • A desire to work in a fast moving and technically challenging environment
